Environmental Impact of Your Paint Choice
Your choice matters. Based on your project, here’s how Pure Paint compares to typical latex/acrylic paint.
Metric If using latex/acrylic By choosing Pure Paint Difference
Calculate your paint needs to see the environmental impact of choosing Pure Paint.

Pure Paint eliminates petroleum plastics, cuts greenhouse gases by over 90%, and is biodegradable and non-toxic.

Each wall has its own length, height, and wall area.
Total wall area is the sum of all wall areas; net wall area subtracts door and window openings.
Door openings ≈ 20 sq ft each; a painted door (both sides + trim) ≈ 50 sq ft. Average window size is used only for wall opening subtraction; window trim is estimated at 15 sq ft per window for paint.
Ceilings use ceiling length × ceiling width and can have primer plus Matte, Velour, or Satin finishes. Doors & trim can have their own primer and finish coats.
